Dear Just One Chesed Family,
As we reflect on another impactful month at Just One Chesed, I’m filled with gratitude for the incredible acts of kindness that continue to shape our community. Every initiative, every volunteer effort, and every connection made brings us closer to a world built on chesed. I’m excited to share some inspiring updates, meaningful moments, and exciting developments from across our organization.
It is with great joy that we welcome Rav Ari Cutler to our team. A seasoned leader in Jewish education and community development, Rav Cutler brings decades of experience and a deep commitment to our shared mission. Having served for 20 years as a Senior Ram at Yeshivat HaKotel and founder of its Leadership Program, he is uniquely positioned to help guide our long-term vision. His background in social work and his strategic acumen in partnership-building make him an invaluable addition to Just One Chesed.
This month was filled with meaningful Chesed experiences that brought people together and made a real impact! At our Build-A-Bed event, over 40 volunteers came together to assemble beds for children in need, including a heartfelt contribution from the Erdfarb Family Bar Mitzvah. Our Wellness Day offered soldiers and their families a day of healing, featuring massages, reflexology, and acupuncture. We were proud to deliver a fully built Pinat Yishiva, a soldiers’ rest station, to an army base, creating a space of comfort and support for our troops. This station was built last month by student volunteers at the Just One Chesed Center! We also hosted several Pizza-Making Events, including a special gathering with soldiers in honor of the Kohn Family’s Bar Mitzvah, turning simple moments into opportunities for connection. Student volunteers from our Friends of Juha Project provided two large BBQs to over 400 soldiers!
Last week, our Food Voucher Program helped bring joy to two Bat Mitzvah girls living in a children’s home, where a full celebration is being arranged for them. With your support, we provided thoughtful gifts that added to the beauty of their simcha.
At the same time, we’ve been standing shoulder-to-shoulder with farmers in the Shomron and Har Hevron, helping sustain their livelihood. This month, our warehouse was alive with activity as trailers rolled in and out, delivering essential supplies to make these remote farms more functional and comfortable.
We have recently welcomed Boots for Israel into our growing Just One Chesed family. This powerful partnership continues the extraordinary mission that began after October 7, 2023—getting vital gear to our brave Chayalim on the front lines. What started with a single request has grown into a global effort led by Yakir Wachstock, delivering over 85,000+ pairs of boots to Israeli soldiers. Together, we’re committed to supporting Am Yisroel—one act of chesed and one pair of boots at a time.
As always, none of this would be possible without you—our community, our supporters, and our partners in kindness. Let’s continue to spread kindness to every corner of our world!
Warm regards,
Founder and CEO
