Project Friends of Juha was founded on the belief that today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders. Friends of Juha facilitates hands-on projects and educational programs that help Israeli teens discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and grow into confident, capable individuals.

Friends of Juha was established in memory of Juha, a remarkable individual whose life was defined by selfless giving, humility, and unwavering dedication to others. From his transformative journey in the military—where he chose to rise above his challenges and serve with excellence—to the countless acts of kindness he performed for soldiers and families in need, Juha inspired all who knew him. After his heroic death during an operational mission on Mount Dov in 2015, his friends and family came together to carry forward his legacy. The organization reflects Juha’s spirit by empowering youth, helping them recognize and fulfill their potential—just as Juha believed in “flying forward” with others, lifting them up through leadership, compassion, and action.
