Dear Just One Chesed Family,

During this challenging time, your support has made a profound impact on those in need. As we look back on the month of June, we are reminded of the incredible strength of our community and the tangible difference we make.

Boots for Israel remains a lifeline for many. This past month, we launched our Emergency Iran War Campaign, coordinating multiple flights of boots to soldiers, even during the difficult period of closed airspace. Despite these hurdles, we delivered 959 pairs of boots! Boots for Israel organized a Boot-Mitzvah packing event at a Bat Mitzvah celebration in Toronto. These are just a few examples of the creativity and kindness that fuel our mission.

The Just One Chesed soldier equipment gemach is still going strong! We have helped many soldiers by providing them with essential life-saving items, such as bulletproof vests and helmets.

On the ground during the War with Iran, we continued our efforts to support Miluim families. With over 140 pizzas delivered to families whose loved ones were suddenly called up to the IDF.

Our Meals for Heroes program served an additional 1,150 meals this month, bringing our monthly total to over 2,000 meals. This work remains a vital part of our mission, one that we’re proud to support.

From distributing furniture to struggling families to sharing fresh produce and food vouchers with evacuees, this month we gave vital support to so many!

Speaking of community involvement, Kol Ha’Ne’arim’s Summer Program brought together 80 young volunteers who participated in meaningful acts of kindness. Fifty kids made beds for families in need, and thirty others prepared and delivered pizzas to the families of soldiers. Seeing the next generation actively engage in chesed is a powerful reminder of the lasting impact we’re making together.

Behind the scenes, our ChesedMatch platform reached new milestones, with 51,875 site visits in June! Providing more resources for those in need.

This month, we translated the Just One Chesed app into Ukrainian, Russian, and French, allowing us to engage schools and communities worldwide. We also added new features that allow organizations to share additional volunteer opportunities, making it easier than ever for people to get involved. In addition, we’re excited to share that we’re developing the Ezras Nashim App, which will enable women to engage in daily acts of Torah, Prayer, and Charity.

Just One Chesed has expanded into new, exciting territories. One of the most thrilling events in June was our Jump for Chesed skydiving fundraiser, where 17 brave participants jumped out of a plane to raise funds and awareness for our cause. The outpouring of support was amazing, serving as a true reminder of the heights we can reach when we come together for kindness.

We’re grateful to every volunteer, donor, and community member who makes this work possible, and we’re excited to continue creating a more compassionate world together.

As always, thank you for your ongoing support. Whether you’ve contributed time, energy, or financial resources, you’re part of this remarkable journey, and we couldn’t do it without you.

Warm regards,

Jerry Latinik
Founder and CEO
