Kindness Booth
A Kindness Booth is an interactive pop-up booth set up in public areas, where members of the public are encouraged to pause and take part in a simple act of kindness.
The goal is to spread positivity, create kindness, and inspire others to do something meaningful.
At the booth, students and faculty are invited to choose from a variety of simple acts of kindness, whichever one speaks to them most.
Examples include:
- Write a note: Write a kind note to a either a fellow student, a teacher, or a soldier.
- Take a candy: One for yourself and another candy to give to someone else in school to sweeten their day.
- Recite a Tehillim: On behalf of someone (chayalim, a person who is ill) or for all of Am Yisrael.
- Help someone: Find an opportunity today to help someone, either a fellow student, a teacher or someone at home.
Periodically, a new and unique act of kindness will be added, often connected to either an upcoming holiday, or a special theme for that month.
