We were truly honored to welcome Amichai Chikli, Israel’s Minister of Diaspora Affairs, and Dovi Shefler, the mayor of Efrat, to the Just One Chesed Center. Their visit was much more than a meeting. It was an opportunity to connect, share, and dream bigger about how we can join forces to spread kindness around the world.
As part of their visit, Minister Chikli and Mayor Shefler received a personal tour of the Just One Chesed Center, where they learned about our programs and the many ways we are working to spread kindness globally. From supporting soldiers and families in need to inspiring the next generation through our Chesed education initiatives, they saw firsthand how every project is rooted in our mission to make kindness a way of life.
Minister Chikli has already shown himself to be a true friend to our mission. His passion for uniting the Jewish people and building bridges between Israel and Jewish communities worldwide is inspiring. His commitment is clear in every word, and it aligns deeply with our vision.
Mayor Shefler’s presence added another layer of warmth and leadership to the gathering. His dedication to community building and his support for initiatives that bring people together resonate strongly with what we strive to accomplish every day.
We left the meeting energized and inspired by their encouragement and vision. Together, with leaders like Minister Chikli and Mayor Shefler, we are confident that we can continue to transform kindness into action and make an even greater impact across Israel and beyond.
